(33)   INFORMATION:     SEE ADDENDUM     ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:     (i) Debtors are expected to settle their accounts as follows: 50% in the month of the sales. These debtors are entitled to 8% discount for prompt settlement. 35% in the first month following the sales transaction month. 10% in the second month following the sales transaction month. 5% will be written off as bad debts after 90 days.     (ii) Purchase of trading stock: Trading stock is kept at a constant level. (Goods are replaced in the month in which they are sold). 30% of the purchases of merchandise are on credit. Payment is made in the second month following the purchase. No discount is received.     (iii) Sundry operating expenses for October amounts to R14 000. It will decrease with 5% each month.     (iv) Interest on the fixed deposit is transferred directly into the bank account each month. 40% of the fixed deposits matures on 31 October 2022 and the rest on 28 February 2023.     (v) The business currently employs five workers who are each paid a basic salary of R9 500 per month. Salaries will be increased by R550 per worker with effect from 1 October 2022.  One worker resigned on 31 October 2022. All workers receive a bonus of 85% in November.     (vi) The business has one salesman. He is paid a commission of 5% on total sales.     (vii) Each month the owner withdrew of R27 500 cash.       (viii) The business places an advertisement in the Newspaper every week. The cost is currently R1 500 per advertisement, but the charge will decrease from November with R50 per week.
