Both Abreon and Karen testified at the trial, without either party objecting to the overall admissibility of their testimony. The jury found in favor of Marcus and awarded him money damages on his employment discrimination claim. Gerund has appealed, arguing that Abreon should not have been allowed to testify. Marcus has cross-appealed, arguing that Karen should not have been allowed to testify.  Under what legal standard(s) will the appellate court decide these two issues on appeal?
