The fоllоwing cаse is аbоut the construction of а new Chemistry building at a University campus. The building includes classrooms, offices, conference rooms, study areas and labs. The general contractor is Allied Constructor's.  Remember to refer in your answer the Code of Ethics studied in class and AGC Ethics presentation. During  final project inspections and the preparations for project close-out, Allied Constructors’ (GC) project manager discovered that Kildaire, the subcontractor responsible for the supply and installation of fume hoods in the labs, had provided blower fans that were not the ones specified in the contract documents and included in the submittals approved by the design engineer. Testing on the exhaust system and the blowers of these fume hoods had been previously conducted, and the results were satisfactory. He also determined that the blower fans were not “Underwriter Laboratory” certified and the installed equipment could create a hazard in the long term.Kildaire did not deny the fact that the blower fans were not the ones specified and included in the submittals, but in fact exceeded the required specifications and were more readily available at the time of installation, which helped Kildaire stay on schedule. Kildaire showed the project manager documentation proving that there was no price difference, and that the substitution did not result in any financial advantage for the subcontractor. QuestionsWhat  was Kildare’s obligation when they realized the specified blower fans were not readily available?
