Cаse Study #4b   Scenаriо Krystаl is an active 16-year-оld high schоol honors student. After a busy weekend spent working with a group of community volunteers, she wakes up still feeling tired and a little achy, like she is getting the flu. Signs and Symptoms Her mom has her stay home from school so she can rest and recover. But she feels worse the next day and develops a fever and sore throat. After a week of being out of school because she’s “too tired to move,” her mom takes Krystal to their doctor. Krystal told the nurse that she just felt incredibly tired, even though she had been sleeping a lot. The nurse noted that her temperature was a little over 100°F. On physical examination, the doctor also observed that several of Krystal’s cervical lymph nodes were swollen. Testing The physician suspected that Krystal had either a case of strep throat, caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pyogenes (group A strep), or infectious mononucleosis, which is caused by a human herpesvirus (HHV 4 or Epstein Barr virus). Rapid tests for group A strep and mononucleosis were performed while Krystal was in the office and a blood sample was sent to the hematology lab for more testing. Question: If Krystal does end up being infected with Epstein Barr virus, which of the following would most likely play the largest role in her body's immune response?
