NOTE THAT THIS IS A SHORT ESSAY QUESTION In оur discussiоn оf the endocrine system during Unit 3, we looked аt severаl glаnds that form negative feedback loops to help maintain homoeostasis.  Two glands that work together to maintain calcium homeostasis are the thyroid gland and the parathyroid gland.   So, for PART 1 of this essay, start by explaining which of these glands is involved in dealing with calcium levels that are too high in the blood and what hormone they release to deal with such a stimulus.  What job(s) does this hormone actually do in the body to return blood calcium levels back to their ideal level? Next, in PART 2, explain which of these two glands is involved with dealing with calcium levels that are too low in the blood and what hormone they release to deal with this stimulus.  What job(s) does this hormone actually do in the body to return blood calcium levels back to their ideal level? As with any essay question in this class, you MUST write in clear, complete sentences with proper grammar and punctuation.  If I can't understand your logic, I won't be able to give you much credit for this question.  Make sure to re-read your answer out-loud to make sure it makes sense.
