Based on what you have learned about the social determinants of health that are related to class, gender, race, discrimination, and intersectionality, you will apply these concepts in your analysis of this week’s readings on Latinxs and Blacks.   You need to have at least 500 word essay. You do not need to cite sources or use a bibliography since you are in a timed test just note the author or title of the article or source.  Based on what you have learned about the social determinants of health that are related to class, gender, race, discrimination, and intersectionality, you will apply these concepts in your analysis over this week’s readings on Latinx college students and African American women and the health care determinants (barriers to good healthcare and outcomes).             1) How do the two articles' findings relate to gender, class (income levels) rather than race/ethnicity?  Explain your and give examples from the readings.           2) Do the suggested solutions from the articles, if any, relate to the race, ethnicity, class, and gender? Explain with examples If they do not offer solutions, based on the readings give your suggested solutions and if there are solutions explain why you agree or disagree with these based on your analysis.          3) Could the information regarding Latinx college students be applied to Black college students? Why or why not? Give your examples to support your answer.          4) Could the information about African American women be applied to African American men? Give examples to support your answer.          5) Could the study on African American women would work with other women of color, such as Latinas? What about white women?  Does income make a difference? Give examples to support your answer.          6) Could the Latinx college students' article findings, apply to all college students? Explain and give examples.          7) Give your assessment of the 2 articles explaining if you felt the research adequately addressed issues related to race/ethnicity, gender, class and social determinants of health and what were the strengths and weakness of the 2 studies. Remember you need to support your answers based on what you are learning in this class.  You may answer the essay in a series of questions. Write you answers below.
