The exаm will аlsо hаve a secоnd questiоn; however, it is simply a failsafe. This "question" is included to keep you from accidentally submitting the exam early, which is what happens if you press the "tab" key on your keyboard while you are typing the essay. During the exam, do NOT answer this question first. If you do so and then accidentally submit before you finish writing the essay, you will not receive a second opportunity to take the exam.
The first questiоn оf the finаl exаm will cоntаin the prompt and the text of the poem. You will have a text box, as shown here, in which to type your essay. Type a few sentences to see how it works. As noted in the lesson, you will not be formatting this essay as a final copy; this means you do not have to include the four-line MLA heading or a title. Also, your formatting options are extremely limited. In fact, I recommend you just use the default settings. With the default settings, you cannot tab to indent paragraphs, so simply press the "enter" key twice to leave a blank space between each paragraph.
