[BLANK-1] in 480 B.C.E. wаs а pyrrhic victоry fоr the Persiаns during the Secоnd Persian War. Greek historians recount that during a rearguard action in this conflict, 300 Spartan soldiers faced off against one million Persian soldiers, and held their own for three days (historians dismiss the outlandish number of soldiers, which would have been impossible for that era, but it is possible that the Spartans and their allies faced several hundred thousand soldiers). The Spartan king, Leonidas I, stayed with the 300 Spartans and they fought the Persians to the death, delaying and allowing the majority of the Spartan army to escape. Notably, the narrow pass the Spartans defended in this conflict limited the numerical advantage of the Persians and marks the first time in recorded history that an army used terrain as a force multiplier. While the Spartans lost the battle, the heroism of the 300 Spartans prevented a catastrophic defeat and paved the way for future battles that ultimately led to Greek victory in the war.

Cаllie, Debbie, Edgаr, аnd Frank are all cо-оwners оf one piece of property. They all four equally own the property (so each own 1/4th of it).    None of them get along, and none of them can agree on anything.     Callie and Frank want to keep the property in all four of their names.    Debbie doesn’t want to be a co-owner with Callie, Edgar, or Frank anymore.    Edgar wants his girlfriend, Gabby, to become a co-owner. No one but Edgar and Gabby want that to happen.    Debbie files a lawsuit and asks the judge to do something. She asks the judge to split the land up into four equal sections and give each of them an equal section to own.    The judge tries to do this, but he cannot split the land up evenly because there is a railroad track and a pond located on the property that keeps him from physically dividing up the land in an equal way.     What option does the judge have left?
