The fоllоwing exаminаtiоn policies will be strictly enforced on аll exams: Take Exams in Classroom Like Setting. You should be taking the exam just like you would in the classroom with the only difference being you are using your computer and you are in a work space you have selected. Eyes Focused on Computer Screen: Looking away from your computer screen is prohibited. Reading notes or other items placed outside of the view of your webcam is prohibited. You cannot read the exam questions or know where to click the mouse unless you are looking at the computer screen. Stay on Camera; Entire Face and Eyes Visible: Your entire face and eyes must be fully visible on the webcam throughout the entire exam. Sunglasses, hoodies, hats, your hair, blankets, towels, etc. covering any part of your face or eyes are prohibited. Getting up from your work space is also prohibited. Well-lit Environment: The entire testing environment must be well-lit, with a clear, unobstructed webcam view of you and your entire face and eyes at all times. There should be more lighting in front of you than behind you – the use of backlighting is prohibited. Clear Webcam View, Audio Turned On: The Your webcam must be clean. Blurry video images are prohibited. Your computer audio must be turned on so that both audio and video is recorded. Turning off your webcam and/or audio during an exam is prohibited. Webcam Centered on Computer Monitor: Your webcam must be directly in front of you and centered on both your computer monitor and your face. Take the Exam Independently, Receive No Help: No one else is permitted to be in the test room or surrounding area that you have chosen to take the exam. Receiving help of any kind before or during an exam is prohibited. No Communication: No communicating with other individuals, whether verbal, non-verbal, or electronically during the exam. No conversations of any type during the exam. Background Noise; Reading Aloud Questions and Answers: Background noise (i.e., television, music, people talking, etc.) of any kind is prohibited. Reading aloud exam questions and/or answers is also prohibited. Clear Environment: The surface where your computing device is placed must be entirely clear of anything other than the test device. Books, papers, electronics, notes, personal items, and any other objects are strictly prohibited. No Other Electronics Allowed: No cell phones, cameras, tablets, computing devices, smartwatches, audio devices (headphones/earbuds), or any other electronic devices are allowed in the room or test area you have chosen except for the computing device you are using to take the exam. One Screen Only: Only one screen is permitted during the test; using any other screens, monitors, or display devices is strictly prohibited. No Other Browsers or Unauthorized Software: Only use Canvas and Honorlock to complete the exam. The use of any other browsers, software, applications, artificial intelligence, and technologies is not permitted. Record Your Workspace: You will be required to record your workspace by moving around your webcam. I have read, understand, and agree to your quiz and examination policies.
As per the syllаbus аnd аbоve instructiоns, yоu should know that my examination policies state the following: “Record Your Workspace: You will be required to record your workspace by moving around your webcam.” At the beginning of tonight’s exam each of you will be required to record your workspace by moving around your webcam. This is not optional and will result in a grade of zero on the exam if it is not done or not done properly. The recording should show that you are sitting at a table or desk that is clear of all items except the computer you are using to take the exam. Your entire desktop should be scanned. The room should be well lit, quiet, and there should not be anyone else in the room. Your computer audio/sound should be turned on and the video recording should be clear (so clean your camera lenses if needed). I have recorded my workspace as requested.
