In а well written essаy, pleаse address the fоllоwing questiоn: "Which of our analytical approaches (Nolte's power characteristics, Walt's IR theories, or the COW Project's definitions) is least useful for understanding today's conflicts?"  State your thesis clearly in your first sentence, then support your argument by comparing how these frameworks apply (or fail to apply) to your conflict and at least one other conflict we have discussed in class. --- Please state your thesis in the first sentence of your essay.  Do not write a lengthy introduction or conclusion. A "C" essay will be clearly written and do all of the above in about 4 paragraphs. A "B" essay is typically longer, and uses more examples. An "A" paper is typically more in-depth, nuanced, and goes well above and beyond minimum expectations. This question is worth 1/3 of the entire grade. Please allocate your time accordingly. A few sentences will NOT be enough.
