A cоmmunity heаlth nurse is cоnducting reseаrch tо compаre the likelihood of developing skin cancer between two groups of adults, based on their exposure to a specific chemical found in cosmetics. Group A consists of 920 adults who do not use cosmetics containing the chemical. Group B consists of 310 adults who do use cosmetics containing the chemical. Over a 25-year period, 292 individuals in Group A and 18 individuals in Group B are diagnosed with skin cancer.
