Questions

A spring is аttаched tо pоints A аnd B as shоwn in the figure.  The spring constant, k, is given equal to k = 100 N/m and it is stretched by s = 0.1m.  Distance b = 2 m. Consider the force which the spring exerts on point A only and calculate the moment it produces about the coordinate axes x and y.    Calculate the moment produced by the same force about axis OB. You need to show the expression using numerical values; however, you do not need to complete the calculations to find the value of the moment.

How many ways are there to randomly select 5 of these keyboards for a thorough inspection (without regard to order or defect)? (3 points) In how many ways can a sample of 5 keyboards be selected so that exactly two have an electrical defect? (3 points) If a sample of 5 keyboards is randomly selected, what is the probability that at least 4 of these will have a mechanical defect? (4 points)
