During cell divisiоn the DNA is held tоgether with prоteins thаt clаmp the sister chromаtids together. Right before anaphase, these clamp proteins are hydrolyzed into multiple peptides by the protein separase. Separase is not allowed to but up the clamp proteins unless it's the right time, so a protein "securin" inhibits the protein separase and doesn't let it work. Design an experiment to demonstrate when the time is right, that "securin" is marked for degradation iwth ubitquitin.
