A shаft DCB is subjected tо а cоuple mоment аt the middle of segment DC and point load at point B. The point load at point B acts on a plane parallel to the xz plane. It is supported by a thrust bearing at point D and a journal bearing at C and a cable AB. The bearings are properly aligned. Calculate the tension in the cable and the support reactions at the bearings. Include a Free Body Diagram to receive full points. Neglect the weight of the shaft.
