Prоblem 1. (25 pts)  Cоnsider the EI cоre device below. Note:    Both cores hаve а relаtive permeability of μr{"version":"1.1","math":"μr"}.  1a) Draw the MEC and define the individual reluctances. 1b) Write an expression for the equivalent reluctance seen by the winding. 1c) Write an expression for inductance. 1d) Write an expression for co-energy. 1e) Write the expression for the absolute value of electromagnetic force on the I-core in terms of N, i, ds, ws, w, g, lc, μr{"version":"1.1","math":"μr"}, and the permeability of free space μ0{"version":"1.1","math":"μ0"}. Problem 2. (25 pts)  Consider the T-equivalent circuit from class. Assume a resistive load of RL{"version":"1.1","math":"RL"} is placed across the secondary winding of the transformer. An AC voltage V{"version":"1.1","math":"V"} of frequency ω{"version":"1.1","math":"ω"} is applied across the primary winding. Derive an expression for the referred current through the secondary winding, referred to the primary side winding. It should be positive if it is flowing from left to right. (This should be symbolic using the same notation as the lectures). Problem 3. (25 pts)  Consider the following system: 3a) Is the system magnetically linear? 3b) Could it represent a conservative field? 3c) Determine an expression for co-energy. 3d) Determine an expression for force. Problem 4. (25 pts)  Consider an H-field given by H=10xz2a^x+20a^y+15xya^z{"version":"1.1","math":"H=10xz2a^x+20a^y+15xya^z"} where a^x{"version":"1.1","math":"a^x"}, a^y{"version":"1.1","math":"a^y"} and a^z{"version":"1.1","math":"a^z"} are unit vectors in the x, y and z directions respectively. Consider the path from point A (0,2,0) to point B (10,2,0) to point C (10,2,5) to point D (0,2,5) and back to point A. How much current is enclosed by the path and what is its direction?
