In interpersоnаl cоmmunicаtiоn, we get to become investigаtors by looking into why we act and react the way we do in a variety of situations. We also talk about a range of communication strategies that can be used in this investigation. Learning more about why people act and react the way that they do (and learning more about the authenticity of a person's communication) is something that we will cover in great detail. However, I believe that one of the best parts of this course is that we specifically focus on the kinds of communication that you will need to be successful in your ability to communicate effectively because being misunderstood is one of the most frustrating occurrences that we experience. This video is a great introduction to Interpersonal Communication. While watching the video, it asks you to complete a task where you talk to a stranger. You do NOT need to complete this task. Also, a portion of the video talks about a doctor giving medical advice.
