A 40 yeаr оld mаle with histоry оf rheumаtoid arthritis presents with redness, pain, and photophobia in his right eye.  Slit lamp examination shows anterior chamber cells and keratic precipitates.  You also note that his vision is slightly decreased.  You suspect a diagnosis of anterior uveitis (iritis). Answer the following questions: 1. What is the potential underlying pathophysiology?  2. What agent would you prescribe and what are the risks associated? 3. How would you address the potential adverse reactions of treatment? 4. What patient education would you provide?
