Melissa was recently in a car with other undocumented people. The car was pulled over, and no one had a driver’s license. The police checked everyone’s identification, and when Melissa couldn’t produce a photo ID, she was turned over to ICE. ICE places Melissa in detention. Melissa’s lawyer asks for a bond hearing. A.
