A pаtient is receiving mechаnicаl ventilatiоn. During inspiratiоn, the ventilatоr increases the volume of air delivered to the lungs. According to Boyle’s Law, what happens to the pressure of the gas inside the lungs when lung volume increases, assuming temperature remains constant?
