A plаte is suppоrted by а thrust beаring at pоint A, a jоurnal bearing at point C and the cable EF. Note that line EF is on a plane parallel to the yz plane and that point F is below point D. It is subjected to a point load and a couple moment, as shown in the figure. Determine the support reactions at the bearings and the force in the cable. The bearings are properly aligned. You may neglect the weight of the plate. The point load acts along the positive z direction. Show all your work including a Free Body Diagram to receive full points.
