An observational study investigated the territorial behavior of drivers in a busy campus parking lot. Informal interviews indicated that most people stated that they would leave their parking spot faster if a car were waiting for them to depart. To verify this, a researcher set up an experiment. A sample of n = 30 drivers were observed and timed for how long it took each one to enter their car and leave the parking space. Fifteen were randomly assigned to a condition in which they were intruded upon by having another car pull up near the parking space as if its driver were waiting on to claim the space. The other 15 were not intruded upon. The number of seconds it took for each driver to vacate their parking space is displayed in the table below.  Did the presence of someone waiting influence how long it took the driver to vacate the space? Use a two-tailed test with α = .05.   State the null and alternative hypotheses. Determine the critical region. *Important: You must show all of the following: critical value(s) of t, retain and rejection regions labeled and shaded, df, alpha, and the number of tails.
