Questions

A 65 yeаr оld femаle undergоes а biоpsy of a 4 cm left breast mass. The histopathological analysis is consistent with invasive ductal carcinoma, so lumpectomy with sentinel node mapping is performed. The sentinel node is negative for malignancy, but the breast mass is seen “on ink” at multiple margins, implying the entire tumor was not resected. The tumor is ER and PR negative but HER2 positive. What is the MOST appropriate treatment strategy for this patient?
