The finаl exаm fоr оur cоurse will be 50 multiple choice questions аnd is comprehensive. The questions will evaluate your ability to analyze medical terms to determine their meaning and create medical terms based on a description. While you will read about diseases/disorders (i.e. diabetes), drugs (i.e. corticosteroids), and treatments (i.e. a biopsy), you determine the meaning of a term based on the prefixes, suffixes, combining forms, etc. that are word parts in the charts throughout the chapters. The only additions come from module 1 they include: 1 question relating to body planes/sections where you must identify the section a medical image is set in: Sagittal, Frontal/Coronal, Transverse/Horizontal 1 question relating to directional terms: Medial/Lateral, Anterior/Posterior, Superior/Inferior, Proximal/Distal, Superficial/Deep, and Supine/Prone 1 question asking you to identify a medical imaging technique based on a description: MRI, CT, Xray, Ultrasound, and PET. 1 question that requires an understanding of the terms benign and malignant This means that you should not have to memorize every detail of the pharmacology, conditions/diseases, procedures, and diagnostic tests from the chapters. Instead focus on identifying medical terms.
