I аm оften referred tо аs а the mоther of OT. I began my carrer as a student in social work. I attended training courses in curative occupations in 1908 at the Chicago School of Civics and Philanthropy, which was affiliated with Hull House. In 1912, I was asked by Adolf Meyer to direct a new OT department at the Henry Phipps Psychiatric Clinic of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there that I developed the area of work that I am most known for, habit training. Who am I?
