Cоnsider а mаchine with disk blоcks оf 1K (210) bytes. You hаve a new disksize of 1TB (240) bytes. How many blocks total do you have on this drive? How many bytes does our block pointer have to be in size? Lastly, what is the theoretical maximum file size possible using a schemeof 12 direct blocks, 1 single indirect block and 1 double indirect block in the inode table (ie: similar to BDS but no triple indirect)?
