Essаy Questiоns – Pleаse Chооse 1 of the questions to аnswer.  Be sure to formulate your ideas completely and provide a thorough answer with correct grammar.    Ethical leadership is becoming an essential component in the study of leadership. Table 12.1 outlines six factors of ethical leadership.  Please list and explain each of these aspects and give examples to elaborate on how these help a leader act in an ethical way.  Also, please address why a class in Leadership needs to discuss ethics? (and provide a specific instance where it is important – preferably not one presented in class) Please explain the Path-Goal Theory. What are the four main elements that need to be considered to apply this theory? Be sure to include in your answer specific information about the four possible leadership styles a person can use with this theory. Also discuss the specific circumstances under which a leader would use each one of these styles and why this method should be employed. Since this is rather complicated, please suggest any tips to help a leader be more effective in being a Path-Gaol leader?  Include specific examples as part of your answer. Path-Goal Theory talks about the importance of overcoming obstacles. Please list and describe the seven specific obstacles presented in the textbook (and discussed in lecture). As part of your answer, discuss what role the leader can play in each of these obstacles. Remember to provide examples to illustrate these ideas. What is the “Toxic Triangle” as it relates to destructive leadership? Please elaborate on the three components (Traits of Leaders, Susceptible Followers and Conducive Environments)  and how these all work together to create damaging or negative leadership.  Please provide a cohesive example that illustrates how a destructive person could rise to power referencing all three elements of the triangle. In class we talked about the collective efforts that the leader, the followers and the context/environment can develop strategies that might reduce or even prevent toxic leadership. Please talk about how each of these can counteract destructive leaders.  From what you have learned – what is the best way to stop destructive leadership and elaborate on why what you have chosen would be effective.  Be sure to use specific examples in your answer In class I shared with you a video and discussion of Simon Sinek’s investigation into how the Navy selected their elite SEAL Team 6. Please describe and discuss how he went about his study and what he discovered  in his analysis?  Be sure to include what he meant by his discovery of a “Lopsided Metric”.  Ultimately how would you utilize his discovery in your role as a leader.  Please use illustrative examples throughout your answer
