If something unexpected occurs, please explain the situation in your video during the exam and message me through Pronto to keep me informed.Technology Requirements & SetupMandatory computer positioning: Your camera must be properly positioned (not sideways, at an appropriate angle, and facing you directly).Browser lockdown: Use of Honorlock's browser lockdown feature is mandatory, preventing access to other tabs, applications, or search engines.Disabled virtual machines: Students must not use virtual machines or remote desktop connections during exams.Quiet environment: No TV, music, or noisy environments are permitted during the exam.Pre-Exam VerificationFull 360-degree room scan: Use a mirror to show your table and computer screen (see reference video).Cell phone verification: You must demonstrate turning off your cell phone and placing it out of reach before taking the exam.Environment requirements: Exams must be taken at a table, not on a bed.Face visibility: Your entire face must remain visible throughout the exam. Position your camera to ensure your face remains fully visible even if you slouch.Behavioral RequirementsContinuous presence: Staying in frame at all times - intentionally moving out of frame will result in penalties.No room exits: Leaving the room during the exam is prohibited.No verbalization: Reading exam questions aloud is not permitted without prior authorization.Eye movement consistency: Your eye movements should be consistent with proper test-taking behavior (primarily focused on your screen, not frequently looking down or away).No unauthorized materials: Using notes or other unauthorized materials during the exam is strictly prohibited.Device management: All devices not being used for the exam (including smartwatches) should be turned off and placed out of reach.Writing surface visibility: If scratch paper is allowed, it must remain visible in the camera frame at all times.Point Deduction GuidelinesFailing to turn off the cell phone and putting it out of reach prior to taking the exam: -100 points (ZERO)Using unauthorized electronic devices (except approved accessibility equipment): -100 points (ZERO)Not completing a full 360-degree room scan: -100 points (ZERO)Camera not properly positioned: -100 points (ZERO)Only part of your face is visible: -100 points (ZERO)Watching TV, listening to music, or being in a noisy environment: -100 points (ZERO)Reading exam questions aloud without permission: -100 points (ZERO)Using notes during the exam: -100 points (ZERO)Leaving the room during the exam: -50 pointsIntentionally moving out of frame: -50 pointsTaking the exam on a bed instead of at a table: -10 pointsSomeone entering the room during the exam (exceptions for small children): -5 pointsExiting the exam (not completing it in one sitting): -100 points (ZERO)Unexcused late submission: 50% deductionAccommodations ProcessStudents requiring specific accommodations must submit documentation to the Office of Student Accessibility.Approved accommodations will be noted in the student's profile and will not trigger penalties.Technical Issues ProtocolIf disconnected, students have 3 minutes to reconnect.All technical issues must be immediately documented and reported through Pronto.Complete before you StartComplete a room scan with your camera, if you camera doesn't move use a mirror to complete this stepMake sure there nothing on your table and or on the computer screen (show during room scan)Turn off your phone place away from your table (show during room scan)Show both ears during the room scan to make sure you don't have any airpods onMake sure lights are all on in your room (one lamp doesn't work)Make sure the camera view is not been block or blurryMake sure you have good wifi connectionMake sure TV, Radio, alexa, and or google devices are offMake sure you do not have any tabs open or any other browsers open
