Pleаse remember thаt yоu must tаke the exam in Gооgle Chrome on a computer (not phone or tablet) with a microphone and webcam. You should take the exam in a private room and close all other applications and browser tabs. Be prepared to show your ID card and do a room scan before starting. You may not use any materials, notes, additional apps, or additional devices during the exam. The practice test is not worth any points. Remember that this is a closed book/notes exam. You cannot have any notes or cell phone in your vicinity. You can't have other people in the room or in the vicintiy. All of this will get you flagged by the software and you will get a zero on this exam and reported to the dean of students. Once you submit your exam, you will not be able to go back in. Additionally, if you close out your exam, the exam will be submitted and you will not be able to get back in. The exam will consist of 50 questions and three extra credit questions so you will be able get 106% on the exam! You will have 75 min to complete the exam. Keep in mind that the exam must be finished by THE DEADLINE, not started. Take the exam at a desk or table in a private room. Talking is prohibited during testing. Wear appropriate clothing. Clothing that obstructs the proctor’s view and/or alludes to cheating will result in review of the exam session. Hats and headphones are not allowed. Close all other applications on your computer. Turn off cell phones and other devices and leave them outside the room or in a closed bag or drawer. Scan your ID card. Your UAA Wolfcard is preferred. If you don’t have a Wolfcard, follow the Honorlock instructions for using a driver’s license or other ID. Due to federal law, Honorlock will not accept military and CAC ID’s. Complete a full room scan to verify that the testing environment does not contain anything that compromises academic integrity or creates an unfair advantage. This includes a cell phone or other device, reference materials, textbooks, notes, communication tools, etc. If you are unsure whether something is permitted, ask your instructor before starting the exam. Complete the exam in one sitting. In some cases, brief interruptions are allowed to compensate for internet disruptions, but this depends on the instructor. Complete the exam without using or attempting to access devices, reference materials, other windows, browser tabs, or applications, unless explicitly permitted by your instructor. Do not record, take screenshots, or otherwise document any portion of the exam. Refrain from eating while testing. Students may have beverage containers as long as all labels are removed. UAA does not permit the use or consumption of drugs or alcohol while students are testing. Students who are found to violate this will be reported to the Dean of Students office for further review/investigation.
