For each scene, explain: What happens in the scene Why it's significant to character, theme, or plot What makes it memorable or impactful What narrative techniques the author uses to create its effect Textual Evidence: Include at least 1 direct quotation that demonstrate the novel's narrative style, structure, or key scenes, citing properly (Author page#) Literary Analysis: At least ONE quotation must analyze specific word choices, stylistic techniques, or narrative devices. Explain why these elements are significant to how the story is told. Quote Analysis: After each quotation, explain what it reveals about the novel's narrative approach Important: Focus on HOW the story is told, not just WHAT happens. This analysis will be crucial for understanding what challenges and opportunities any adaptation would face. These scenes will become the foundation for your detailed adaptation discussion in Part 2.
