The liver receives cаrbоhydrаtes frоm the smаll intestine, frоm the food we eat.  The first thing it does with the glucose is [deliver].  The second thing it does with the glucose is to build [glycogen].  We store about [2000] calories of this molecule.  The last thing it does, if there is any glucose left over, is to store the excess as [fat].
