Yet our responsibilities toward the natural environment are challenged by many practical needs: our needs for inexpensive fuels, for plentiful food, for travel and recreation, and so on. Write an essay establishing your own claim concerning how the public can achieve a balance between its responsibilities toward the environment and its practical needs.
