This will just serve as a placeholder and will be graded based on your in-person performance in this section of the exam.  Is your image clear and in focus at 100x (with immersion oil)? Can we clearly see the shape, arrangement, and Gram reaction of the individual cells in your sample?  Please ensure that we can clearly see the cells (sharp and in focus at 100x with immersion oil) and that their shape and arrangement is clear and visible. You are allowed to start over if you are unsatisfied with your results, but please be conscious of time and make sure that your partner is able to use the microscope as well. When you are satisfied with your image, raise your hand and a member of the teaching team will come over and look at your results. They will then score you based on the image in your microscope.
