This week yоu reаd twо аrticles with cоntrаdictory results. Write a reflection in which you make an argument for which study provided a better argument. That is, which study is more believable and why? Your reflection should take the form of a 5 paragraph essay complete with the use of an introduction thesis statement, series of body paragraphs with appropriate topic sentences, and a conclusion paragraph. In your introduction, you should explain where the studies overlap - what they have in common and how they are different, before concluding the paragraph with a thesis statement that identifies the points you will be arguing in your paper (on which one is "better"). Your body paragraphs should use the articles to support your argument. You should be sure to assess the methodology of the articles and explicate - based on their methodological merits - why one is superior to the other. Your argument must be consistent all the way through (i.e., it cannot be the case that one paper is stronger in one way and the other paper is stronger in a different way). You must pick a side and vociferously defend it. Your conclusion should begin with a restatement of the thesis and then summarize the main points of the paper. You need only cite these two articles.
