Fоllоwing аre bаsic requirements оf the аssignment. Begin with an MLA header (your name, instructor name, class ID, assignment ID, date) and a centered title. Write a five-paragraph Shaka format essay: intro with hook & three-point thesis, three body graphs (one for each thesis point), concluding graph. Indent all paragraphs. A Works Cited page is required. Analyze a plot element such as conflict, suspense, character, point of view, symbolism, or theme. Focus on one element in one story, not multiple elements. Use at least one quote for each body graph along with sufficient explanation, elaboration, and analysis. Cite all quotes and other source material. Skip a few lines before beginning the Works Cited page. Here's a sample of an MLA-formatted Works page entry for a short story in an anthology or collection: Works Cited Oates, Joyce Carol. Final Reminder: A properly placed mirror is required and must provide full view of the entire keyboard and the surrounding workspace.
