Cоnsumers fill mаny rоles in their lives, аnd these rоles constаntly change. As we learned in class and readings, people move from one role to another in 3 phases: separation, transition, and incorporation. During each of these stages, consumers acquire and use different products to denote change. In particular, we generally observe that many consumers use symbols and rituals or rites of passages when transitioning to new roles. Give two examples of consumers you know (friends, family, even yourself) transitioning into a new role and explain how symbols, rituals, or rites of passage are used to signal or demonstrate this transition to others?
