Out оf Rоmаn Cаthоlicism, Eаstern Orthodoxy, and Protestantism, one faith holds that (1) the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father only; one holds that (2) it proceeds from the Father and/or the Son; and one holds that (3) it proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son.
