Cаse Scenаriо  Yоu аre a DPT student оn a clinical rotation in an outpatient orthopedic setting. A patient presents with persistent knee pain that worsens when descending stairs. Based on your coursework and personal experience as an athlete, you suspect patellofemoral pain syndrome. In class, you learned about the “patellar grind” test for this condition. Your professor emphasized the test’s limited diagnostic accuracy, but last week you reviewed a new meta-analysis that reported moderate sensitivity and high specificity for this test. This is the first time you are evaluating a patient with this presentation in a clinical setting. The patient is eager to get your opinion on the reason for their pain.    Instructions: Based on this scenario, answer questions 28 to 37. Select the best response for each item.   The patient tells you, "If this test is going to hurt, I don't want to do it unless it's extremely accurate." Which EBP component is most relevant here?

Scenаriо: lоw bаck pаin    A randоmized controlled trial (RCT) investigated the effectiveness of a 6-week aquatic therapy program compared to land-based therapy for patients with chronic low back pain. Forty participants were randomly allocated into two groups (20 per group). Both groups received equal treatment frequency and duration. Outcomes included pain measured on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and function assessed with the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), and these outcomes were assessed at baseline and 6 weeks.    The researchers reported that both groups improved, but the aquatic therapy group showed significantly greater improvement in function at the end of 6 weeks. Assessors were blinded to group assignment, but neither the therapists delivering the interventions nor the participants could not be blinded. The study reported no dropouts, and baseline characteristics were similar between groups. However, follow-up data were only collected at 6 weeks, so long-term outcomes are unknown.    Answer questions 38 to 43, based on this scenario.    Because outcomes were only measured at 6 weeks, which limitation of internal validity should be noted?
