We have also seen that third person possession works slightly differently, often opting for the genitive forms of is, ea, id (eius, eōrum-eārum-eōrum). The text we are looking at now is in Caput III of Wheelock: Agricola et vītam et fortūnam nautae saepe laudat; nauta magnam fortūnam et vītam poētae saepe laudat; et poēta vītam et agrōs agricolae laudat.
