Fоllоw these guidelines tо write body pаrаgrаph 2: Give the paragraph a relevant heading. Make the heading title case, bold, and center aligned. Begin the paragraph with a topic sentence that argues one way young Americans are negatively affected by technology. Refer to at least one author who discussed this negative effect. (This cannot be an example of the problem, which is what point 4 will be. This must point out or explain what the problem is.) Illustrate the negative effect by describing a specific, named person. Discuss a strategy or idea from at least one of the other two authors* that can be used to counter or avoid the negative effect in point 3. Explain how the strategy will serve to counter or avoid the negative effect for the specific person named in the point 4 above. Important: Be sure this second body paragraph incorporates the third author that you have not yet used in the first body paragraph. Students will be penalized if they do not write an essay that refers to all three authors.
