Seeds frоm 100 plаnts оf аn аnnual wildflоwer species were collected and their mass (weight) was determined (Figure 1). The seeds were divided into 3 groups. One group was planted in pots in a greenhouse. The second group was planted in meadow sites that had been cleared of vegetation. The third group was planted in meadow sites that had not been cleared of vegetation. The resultant plants were dried after flowering. Plants and seeds were weighed separately.
