In just а couple of sentences, briefly respond to the following: Our content this week highlights the "cost of conviction," as seen through Luther's excommunication, Calvin's years spent in hiding, and the ruthless persecution of the Huguenots. Would you be willing to pay that level of cost for your personal beliefs? Or would you say, "J'abjure" ("I recant")? Does having genuine conviction require that you be willing to pay the ultimate cost for it?
