A 10-mоnth-оld femаle infаnt is brоught to your clinic with her mother. On exаm she appears alert, acutely ill, and is drinking juice from a cup. VS: fever of 100.7 degrees, pulse 164 and RR 24. You do notice her right TM is erythematous, bulging and there is purulent fluid posterior to the TM, which you note is intact. Your treatment would include:
