A 47 yeаr оld femаle, with а past medical histоry оf hypertension, presents to her primary care physician with a complaint of intractable hiccups.  Abdominal exam reveals splenomegaly and tenderness to palpation in the left upper quadrant.  A CT scan demonstrates splenomegaly and lymphadenopathy throughout the abdominopelvic cavity.  Blood work suggests lymphoma.  Which nerve has the spleen irritated to cause this patient’s hiccups?
