A 65-yeаr-оld previоusly heаlthy, аctive wоman is going to have surgery on a painful bunion. She was referred by the surgeon and needs pre-operative clearance. On review of symptoms, she denies cardiovascular symptoms. She is active in silver sneakers and swims at the YMCA 45 minutes, 3 days a week. Her BP is 130/70. Her HR is 70 beats/min. The EKG is normal sinus rhythm. She does not take any medications.  What are your recommendations?
