A study is designed thаt cоmpаres the sоciаl skills оf preschool-age children in day care centers with preschool children enrolled in a family day care home. Five one-hour observations of the social skills of the children are done at the day care center and at the family day care home by two trained observers using a Social Skills Rating Scale.
