Tо ensure fаirness аnd uphоld аcademic integrity, the fоllowing guidelines must be adhered to during quizzes and exams: 1. **Device Placement:** All phones must be placed on the instructor's desk for the entire duration of the assessment. 2. **Clear Workspace:** Your table must be free of any items except for your laptop, scratch paper, writing utensil, and calculator. Honorlock will provide a calculator option if needed. 3. **Academic Integrity:** Using the following, but not limited to: notes, Google, textbooks, or any form of communication will constitute as academic dishonesty. 4. **Punctuality** Quizzes will begin promptly at the start of class and automatically close after the quizzes allotted time. For example: Assume your class starts at 1:00 p.m. If you are 5 minutes late and the quiz is 37 minutes long, the quiz will close automatically at 1:37, leaving you 32 minutes to complete the quiz. 5. **VTNE Preparation** The VTNE consists of 170 questions to be completed within 180 minutes, allowing approximately 1 minute and 4 seconds per question. The quizzes and exams presented to you will have a similar format. 7. **Incorrect Answers Submitted** Honorlock will be set to record your screen during the quiz. In the event of a discrepancy between your submitted test and your intended answers due to technical issues, we can reference the recording to review and rectify any incorrect answers. 8. **Quiz Review** If you would like to review your quizzes or exams, please schedule a meeting with me outside of class time. Please be advised that any deviation from the outlined guidelines will result in a score of zero for the respective quiz or exam. I have read, understood and agree with the statements above.
