Students who show behavior indicating academic dishonesty during the exam will be reported to the Dean of Students. 1. Students will complete a 360 degree room scan that shows the testing area surroundings (entire room) as well as the desktop where the exam will be taken. The room scan should not be pointed towards the ceiling. 2. Students will be required to show their whole face clearly throughout the entire exam in the video recording. Please keep your eyes focused on the computer screen/camera lens. 3. Students may not cover/obstruct the camera lens, point the camera lens away from their face, or blur the camera during the exam. 4. Turn off all other devices (e.g. tablets, phones, second computers) and place them outside of your reach. No other electrical devices, smart watches, additional monitors, earbuds/headphones, hats/hoods, sunglasses, eye shielding of any kind is permitted. Clear your area of any books and papers. 5. There must not be side-eyeing or talking with/from/to someone in the room or a device. 6. The volume on the camera microphone must be on high and not muted. 7. Students may not read the exam questions out loud. 8. Ensure you’re in a location where you won’t be interrupted. No other person should be in the room, including children. 9. The student may not leave the room during the exam. Take the exam in a well-lit room, but avoid backlighting (such as sitting with your back to a window.) 10. Students continually looking anywhere other than the center of the computer screen/camera lens are considered to be using prohibited items during the exam. 11. Students are not allowed to take any screenshots or record any part of the exam at any time. If there are questions about the exam, students can make an appointment with the instructor to review the exam via Zoom after completing the exam.
