ANLY 2500 Hоmewоrk 7: Tаbleаu 1    Hоmework Questions/Tаsks Starter File: Omega_HR.csv   Tableau Public Business Context:Omega Pvt. Ltd. is a consultancy firm that partners with multiple companies to deliver services tailored to client requests. The company has around 12 departments, each with teams ranging from ten to thousands of employees. Recently, several departments have requested additional hires due to low team bandwidth. Objective:The company's COO wants to explore ways to optimize employee bandwidth internally. The COO also wants a dashboard included in their deck to track the following metrics to enhance bandwidth optimization: Number of employees and their location Number of employees based on designation and age distribution Hiring trends within the organization   The "Omega_HR" dataset contains 22,211 employee records and provides detailed information on demographics, employment status, and location. Key columns include: Employee Identifiers: Id (unique identifier) and Complete Name. Demographic Information: Age, Birthdate, and Gender. Employment Details: Employment Status (Active or Terminated) and Terminated (binary: 1 if terminated, 0 if active). Hire Date and, if applicable, Termdate (date of employment termination). Jobtitle, specifying each employee's role within the organization. Location Data: Location (HQ or Remote), Location City, and Location State. Based on the 'Omega_HR' dataset, create the following 8 sheets and 2 dashboards in Tableau Public. Instructions   Guidelines Here is an example of how the final viz should look. Yours does not need to be exactly the same.   HW 7 Tableau Viz   (1 point) Question 1: How many employees do we have? Create a worksheet named 'Number of Employees' and display the total number of employees on this sheet using the 'Id' column. Drag and drop "Id" into "Text." Set the measure to "Count Distinct." This number looks fine here, but creates a problem when we add it to a dashboard. So, change the standard setting to "Fit Width." The number moves to the far right. To align it to the left: Go to "Text," select "Alignment," and click "Left Alignment." (1 point) Question 2: How many job titles are there? Create a worksheet named 'Number of Designations' and display the total count of distinct designations on this sheet using the 'Jobtitle' column. Repeat the process for the field "jobtitle."You should see 185 as the result.Don't forget to set Fit Width and Left Alignment for proper formatting. Change the chart type to "Text Tables" if it is currently displayed as a "Bar" chart. (1 point) Question 3: Number of Active Employees Create a worksheet named 'Number of Active Employees' and display the total count of active employees using the 'Employment Status' column. Apply 'Employment Status' as a filter to keep only the active employees. Drag and drop "Employment Status" into "Text." Set the measure to "Count Distinct." This gives the total number of employees (same as in Sheet 1). However, we only need to find the count of active employees. Drag and drop "Employment Status" into the filter. Select "Active" > Apply > OK. What is the total? 19,987 Don't forget to apply formatting. Change the chart type to "Text Tables" if it is currently displayed as a "Bar" chart. (2 points) Question 4: Distribution of Employees Across Departments Create a worksheet named 'Number of Employees by Department' and display the count of employees in each department using the 'Id' and 'Department' columns. Show the result as a bar chart. Drag "Department" into Rows. Drag "Id" into Columns and set the measure to "Count Distinct." (2 points) Question 5: Map Chart – Finding Employees by Location Create a worksheet named 'Number of Employees by State' and display the count of employees in each state using the 'Id' and 'Location State' columns. Display the result as a map chart. Drag "Location State" into Columns. Drag "Id" into Rows. Click "Show Me" and select the Map chart. Fill the states with the number of employees by clicking the "T" button. (2 points) Question 6: Hiring Trend – Line Chart Create a worksheet named 'Number of Employees by Hire Year' and display the count of newly hired employees for each year using the 'Id' and 'Hire Date' columns. Show the result as a line chart. Drag "Hire Date" into Columns. Drag "Id" into Rows. Display values using the "T" button. (2 points) Question 7: Age Distribution - Histogram Create a worksheet named 'Employee Age Distribution' and display the age distribution of employees using the 'Age' column. Show the result as a histogram. Drag "Age" into Rows. In Show Me, select Histogram as the chart type. (2 points) Question 8: Number of Employees by Job Title Create a worksheet named 'Number of Employees by Job Title' and display the count of employees in each job title using the 'Id' and 'Jobtitle' columns. Show the result as a treemap. Drag "Jobtitle" into Rows. Drag "Id" into Columns and set the measure to "Count Distinct." You will see a bar chart. Change it to a Tree Map.
