There must be lighting enough so that your face is visible to the monitor. Be sure the desk or table is cleared of all other materials. This means the removal of all books, papers, notebooks, calculators, cellphones, etc. For room scans, make sure to do a complete 360 degree rotation of your room, then show your work space. Your work space is your desk area, the area that will surround your computer. Review further instructions for completing the room scan appropriately on the instructional page including watching a short demo video. No writing visible on desk or on walls. Close all other programs and/or windows on the testing computer prior to logging into the proctored test environment. Do not have a radio or the television playing in the background. Do not talk to talk to anyone else; No communicating with others by any means. No other persons except the test-taker should be permitted to enter the room during testing. It is a good idea to make sure that your laptop is fully charged, or keep the charger within arm’s reach.
