This is yоur finаl exаm fоr Prоfessionаl Development. The concepts covered in this exam will also be included in the First-Year Competency Exit Exam, held at the end of next spring. This final exam serves as a baseline demonstration of competency in this core subject taught in your first year of the program. This exam is worth 75 points. You will draw 15 questions from a larger pool (T/F, multiple choice, short answer). The questions are designed to test your conceptual understanding and fundamental principles of this class, taken from class discussions, readings, videos, and assignments. The exam is open for 24 hours, starting at 8:00 pm Eastern on September 23rd and closing at 8:00 pm Eastern on September 24th. You must open and complete the exam within that time frame, or you will receive no credit. Once you open the exam, you have 90 minutes to complete it, which includes a built-in buffer accommodation for our SLDS students and second-language speakers, as well as the Honorlock-related student integrity requirements. A few comments about the use of Honorlock: Honorlock requires a Chrome browser running on either a Mac or a PC. Do not use a smart tablet or a smartphone. Honorlock requires you to scan the room in a 360-degree view before you start the exam. This means you complete a 360 of the work surfaces, not the ceiling or floor. You may not have a phone, a second screen, a tablet, or any paper on your desk surface, or near where you're working. You must turn the camera and microphone ON, and leave them on for the duration of the exam. The browser will be locked down. You may only have the browser tab open for the exam itself. You should close all other applications, tabs, and browser windows. If you move to another tab, access other course pages, an Internet search engine, Office 365, or any other application, this will be flagged as an Honorlock violation. No copy and paste operations are allowed. Stopping and restarting the exam is not allowed, nor is leaving the room and returning. Good luck!
